Award-Winning Projects
The NorthStar Veterinary Emergency, Trauma, and Specialty Center, located in Robbinsville, NJ has been named the winner of the Veterinary Economics Hospital Design Contest for the HOSPITAL OF THE YEAR AWARD FOR THE BEST SPECIALTY AND EMERGENCY PRACTICE WORLDWIDE FOR 2012. Thomas L. Zeigler, P.E. working with Jeffrey L. Grogan Architects of Conshohocken, PA, provided structural design and construction documents for all of the foundations, steel, and wood framing for this newly constructed facility.
The two story wood framed facility with a poured concrete basement includes a reception area, surgical, intensive care, and special procedure units; pharmacy, radiology suite with MRI, CT scan, and x-ray; overnight residence, exam rooms, offices, conference area, employee lounge and locker room with an outdoor deck.
